Camp Menard has two traditional events each year.
Family Camp in July.
Where the church and unchurch families and their friends come and gather for a week of Spiritual growth,
fun activities, and so much more.
Family camp which is normally held the 4th of July week has been a tradition at Camp Menard for many years.
The week long activities are prepared and monitored by the Family Camp Committee members that have over the years added great programs
for the youth and young at heart.
Adults and Youth breakout to have their own sessions which include Praise and Worship services, Special Guest Speakers, sports and game activities.
Children are also catered to with special sessions where they can participate in Bible study, Games, Arts and Crafts, and so much more.
Mens Retreat in September.
Mens Retreat has been recognized as a state wide event where men from all across Texas have traveled to participate in this weekend event
which begins on a Friday and ends at noon on Saturday.
The first Mens Retreat was held in September of 2002 with an attendance of 150,
and has grown to a record attendance of 325 in 2012.
The event was cancelled in 2013 due to possible flooding forecasted at the camp grounds by city authorities
but attendance was expected to reach an all time high.
Activities include Praise and Worship services, Spiritual Growth sessions, Royal Ambassadors, Wood car derby races,
Clay Shoot, Horse back riding, Washer toss, Canoe rides, Cook off competitions, and so much more.
If you bring your Bible, an open mind for the Word of God, your game skills and a big appetite, Mens Retreat will most definetly build your Faith,
help your fitness and fill your belly.

Many families reunions are held at Camp Menard because of the ease of use of all the facilities that the Camp offers.
Amenities include self serve kitchens, Full RV hook ups, tent sites, cabins, men and women dorms with bathroom facilities, an open air tabernacle and an indoor meeting/dining room.
